Florence saw the highest growth in employee income among Tuscan provinces between 2020 and 2025, according to a report by Toscana Oggi. Average income in the province rose by 22.2 percent, increasing from 26,653 euros to 32,580 euros.

Grosseto recorded the lowest growth in the region during the same period. Income in Grosseto rose by 15.3 percent, moving from 22,070 euros to 25,455 euros. This creates a gap of nearly seven percentage points in income growth between the two provinces.
