Traslazione di sant’Ubaldo: Gubbio rinnova il cammino di fede verso la Basilica

The Diocese of Gubbio will celebrate the Feast of the Translation of Saint Ubaldo on September 10 and 11, 2026. The festivities center on the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo and Ingino to honor the city's patron saint, whose incorrupt body is kept in the basilica.

The celebrations begin on Thursday, September 10, at 21:00 with a traditional procession. This pilgrimage will move from the Cathedral of Gubbio up to the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo.

On Friday, September 11, Bishop Luciano Paolucci Bedini will preside over a Mass to mark the feast day.
