Bishop José Antonio Satué marked his first year as the bishop of the Diocese of Málaga by participating in interviews with various members of the local Church. Representatives including a priest, a religious sister, a young person, a married couple, and a woman who survived human trafficking discussed topics such as family, popular religiosity, and the dignity of women.

Rosario Ortiz, a religious sister from the Presentation, asked how religious orders can help build a united and evangelical diocese. Bishop Satué responded that religious life contributes to the diocese through diverse charisms, such as missionary, educational, healthcare, social, or contemplative work. He stated that religious communities should live their charisms with open doors, walking alongside parishes and embracing the diocesan pastoral project.

Joanna, a survivor of human trafficking from the Adoratrices Málaga Vive y Camina program, asked how the diocese can raise awareness about the dignity of women. Bishop Satué noted the work of the Adoratrices in supporting women who have experienced prostitution, exploitation, or violence, but Joanna observed that more work remains to be done regarding the presence of women in certain Church spaces and leadership roles.
