A new website has launched to celebrate the 100th anniversary of World Mission Sunday, known as Domund. The site commemorates the history of the day since it was established in 1926 to support Church evangelization in mission territories.

According to the Diocese of Cuenca, the centenary marks a century of impact on Spanish society and missionary work. The diocese notes that since the institution of Domund, an average of 9,000 Catholics have been baptized every 36,500 days throughout this century.
