Unknown vandals leave indecent graffiti on Our Lady, Star of the Sea Church grounds in Bundoran

The vandalism also included the repeated misuse of toilets on the church grounds, leaving them in a condition that prevented use. As a result, the toilets were closed and have since reopened with restricted access.

Local artist Miriam Doran expressed disapproval of the act, stating that such things are disrespectful and have no place on a church or any sacred site. The graffiti affects a building of historical and architectural interest, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing.
