Sisters win temporary stay in NY assisted suicide lawsuit

The Diocese of Rockville Centre and four orders of sisters have won a temporary stay in a lawsuit over New York State's assisted suicide law. The law was scheduled to go into effect on August 5. The sisters provide compassionate care for the elderly poor and the sick.
