Where are you going, humanity? The Church’s answer in 5 points

In brief

The International Theological Commission published a 164-paragraph document titled Quo Vadis, Humanitas? – “Where are you going, humanity?” – to address Christian anthropology in relation to artificial intelligence, posthumanism, and transhumanism.

A special sub-commission chaired by Father Javier Prades López prepared the work. The Commission approved the document unanimously in forma specifica on March 4, 2026.
