Church networks stand alongside victims of human trafficking

Church networks and women religious are renewing their commitment to prevent human trafficking and support victims across Latin America and Europe. According to the International Labour Organization, around 50 million people worldwide are living in conditions of modern slavery. The number of identified victims increased by 25% between 2019 and 2022.
