Archbishop Benjamin Phiri encourages parish self-sustainability

Archbishop Benjamin Phiri of Ndola urged parishioners at St. Stephen Twapia Parish to work toward making their community self-sustaining during a recent visit to the parish. The Archbishop inspected the construction of a new church building, which the parish is currently funding through its own local resources.

Phiri stated that achieving self-sustainability can help improve the well-being and development of the Archdiocese of Ndola. He also asked parishioners to support their priests in their pastoral duties and efforts to improve the parish. Following his inspection, the Archbishop met with parish leaders.
