The Archdiocese of Perth is the metropolitan see for Western Australia, with suffragan dioceses of Broome, Bunbury, and Geraldton. Erected in 1845 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1913, it is led by Archbishop Timothy Costelloe, SDB, appointed in 2012.

History
Western Australia's Greater Perth, Goldfields-Esperance, Peel and Wheatbelt regions form the territory of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Perth, a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Australia. The metropolitan archbishop, currently Timothy Costelloe, appointed in February 2012, is seated at St Mary's Cathedral in Perth.
