It has been led since 2020 by Cardinal Mykola Bychok, who was created a cardinal in December 2024.

History
Ukrainian Greek Catholics in Australia belong to the Eparchy of Saints Peter and Paul of Melbourne. Though an Eastern jurisdiction, it sits as a suffragan within the province of the metropolitan Archbishop of Melbourne, a Latin Church territory. The eparch, currently Mykola Bychok CSsR, has his episcopal church at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in North Melbourne, Victoria.
