The Archdiocese of Vrhbosna, seated in Sarajevo, is the metropolitan see of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with origins as the medieval Diocese of Bosnia and elevated to an archdiocese in 1881. Its suffragans include Banja Luka, Mostar-Duvno, Trebinje-Mrkan, and Skopje. Archbishop Tomo Vukšić has led it since 2022.

History
With its episcopal see in Sarajevo (Vrhbosna), the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Vrhbosna (also known as the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Sarajevo; Croatian: Vrhbosanska nadbiskupija metropolija) is a Catholic ecclesiastical archdiocese. Its territory takes in the eastern parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the whole of the Republic of North Macedonia.
