Vicar Apostolic Aurelio Pesoa Ribera, O.F.M., appointed 28 November 2020, is also president of the Bolivian Bishops' Conference.

History
El Beni, often shortened simply to Beni, is an apostolic vicariate of the Latin Church, a missionary ecclesiastical territory bearing the Latin title Apostolicus Vicariatus Benensis. Exempt from any ecclesiastical province, it keeps its cathedra in the Catedral de la Santísima Trinidad, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, at the episcopal see of Trinidad in Bolivia's Amazonian interior.
