History
Seated in the city of Bolzano, this Latin diocese of northern Italy (German: Diözese Bozen-Brixen, Italian: Diocesi di Bolzano-Bressanone, Latin: Dioecesis Bauzanensis-Brixinensis) covers a territory matching the province of South Tyrol, whose population is predominantly German-speaking. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Trento.
