The Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is a metropolitan see in Nova Scotia, founded in 1817 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Nova Scotia and raised to an archdiocese in 1852. It assumed its current name in 2011 after merging with the Diocese of Yarmouth, and its suffragans are Antigonish and Charlottetown.

History
Part of the civil province of Nova Scotia falls within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth (Latin: Archidioecesis Halifaxiensis-Yarmuthensis), a Latin Church archdiocese with two principal churches: St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica in Halifax and St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral in Yarmouth. Archbishop Brian Dunn has served as diocesan ordinary since 2020.
