History
Montreal and the surrounding areas within Quebec make up the Archdiocese of Montreal (Latin: Archdioecesis Marianopolitana), a Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Canada. It is a metropolitan see, with its arch episcopal see in Montreal, Quebec.
