Latin rite diocese in northeastern Ontario, erected in 1908 as the Vicariate Apostolic of Temiskaming and renamed Diocese of Timmins in 1938. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall and is led by Bishop Roch Martin, who took office in 2026.

History
What is now the Diocese of Timmins (Latin: Dioecesis Timminsensis) in Northeastern Ontario began as the Vicariate Apostolic of Temiskaming, erected on 21 September 1908. It was raised to become the Diocese of Haileybury on 31 December 1915 and received its present name on 10 December 1938. The see is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall.
