The Diocese of Whitehorse is a Latin Church diocese covering Yukon and the part of northern British Columbia above the 57th parallel. Erected as the Prefecture Apostolic of Yukon in 1908 and made the Vicariate Apostolic of Whitehorse in 1944, it was erected as a diocese in 1967 and is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan.

History
Yukon, together with the portion of British Columbia lying north of latitude 57 degrees, forms the Diocese of Whitehorse (Latin: Dioecesis Equialbensis), a Latin Church see and a suffragan within the province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan. Figures from 2003 record 23 parishes and 9,000 Catholics, served by 4 active diocesan priests and 9 religious priests, plus 8 women religious, 10 religious brothers, and 1 permanent deacon.
