History

A Latin archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Canada, Grouard-McLennan (Latin: Archidioecesis Gruardensis-McLennanpolitana) is the metropolitan see of an ecclesiastical province for the Roman Catholic Church in northwestern Canada. Charles Duval serves as archbishop, and in that role he is also pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, the archdiocese's mother church and episcopal see.
