The Archdiocese of Winnipeg is a Latin Church archdiocese established in 1915 and is the only diocese of the Latin Church in Canada that is immediately exempt to the Holy See, with no suffragan dioceses. Archbishop Murray Chatlain was installed on April 4, 2025.

History
Created from the Archdiocese of Saint Boniface and located on the west side of the Red River, the Archdiocese of Winnipeg (Latin: Archidioecesis Vinnipegensis) covers part of the province of Manitoba. It holds a distinction unique among Canada's Latin Church dioceses: it belongs to no ecclesiastical province and is immediately exempt to the Holy See.
