History
Once a metropolitan see, the Archdiocese of Capua (Latin: Archidioecesis Capuana) in Capua, Campania, Italy, no longer heads an ecclesiastical province: since 1979 its archbishop has held no metropolitan rank, and the see stands as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Napoli.
