It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Korhogo and its seat is the Cathedrale Saint-Augustin in Odienne. Bishop Alain Clement Amiezi has led the diocese since 30 June 2022.

In the ecclesiastical province of Korhogo in Côte d'Ivoire, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Odienné (Latin: Odiennen(sis)) has its seat in the city of Odienné.
