It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Bouake and its seat is the Cathedrale Saint-Augustin in Yamoussoukro; the Basilica of Our Lady of Peace also stands in the diocese. Bishop Joseph Kakou Aka leads the diocese.

History
Located in the city of Yamoussoukro, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Yamoussoukro (Latin: Yamussukroën(sis)) forms part of the ecclesiastical province of Bouaké in Côte d'Ivoire.
