It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Anqing and its seat is the Bengbu Cathedral. The see is sede vacante per Wikipedia, without an apostolic administrator.

History
A Latin Rite suffragan see in the ecclesiastical province of Anqing in eastern China, the Diocese of Bengbu (Latin: Pampuven(sis), Chinese: 蚌埠) nonetheless depends on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its cathedral stands in the city of Bengbu 蚌埠 in Anhui province. The see is vacant, and has lacked even an apostolic administrator since 2005; no recent statistics are available.
