The Archdiocese of Hangzhou (Hangchow) is the Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese for Zhejiang, China, seated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Hangzhou. The see lacked a bishop with a papal mandate from 1956 until 2008. Joseph Yang Yongqiang, formerly Bishop of Zhoucun, was appointed to Hangzhou in 2024.

History
Seated in Hangzhou (Zhejiang), China, this archdiocese, also rendered Hangchow (Latin: Hamceuven(sis), Chinese: 杭州), went without a bishop holding a papal mandate from 1956 until 2008. Matthew Cao Xiangde, appointed bishop by the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association, was afterwards recognized by the Holy See.
