Latin-rite apostolic prefecture in southern Anhui province, China, erected on February 22, 1937 from territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Wuhu. It is a dormant, exempt jurisdiction dependent on the Holy See, vacant without an apostolic administrator since the death of its last prefect in 1954.

History
Tunxi District (Chinese: 屯溪区; pinyin: Túnxī Qū) serves as the central district and administrative seat of Huangshan City in Anhui Province, eastern China. Covering 249 square kilometres (96 sq mi), it recorded a population of 217,637 in 2010, and its jurisdiction takes in four subdistricts and five towns. Visitors know it best for the Old Town, and it lies near two World Heritage Sites, the Huangshan Mountain Range and Hongcun Village.
