Latin-rite diocese seated at Neiva, capital of the Huila department of Colombia, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Ibague. It was erected on 24 July 1972 when it was separated from the Diocese of Garzon-Neiva. Its seat is the Cathedral of La Inmaculada Concepcion in Neiva.

History
This Colombian diocese (Latin: Neivensis) has its seat in the city of Neiva and lies within the ecclesiastical province of Ibagué.
