Latin-rite diocese seated at Pereira, capital of the Risaralda department of Colombia, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Manizales. It was erected on 17 December 1952 from the Diocese of Manizales and the Apostolic Prefecture of Choco. Its seat is the Cathedral of Nuestra Senora de la Pobreza in Pereira.
