History

Seated in the city of Ebibeyin, in Kié-Ntem province of the Región Continental, this diocese carries the official title of Diocese "Virgin of Begoña, Mother of Christ" of Ebibeyín (Latin: Ebibeyinen(sis)). It belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Malabo, which covers all of Equatorial Guinea, while remaining dependent on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
