It is immediately subject to the Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and not part of any ecclesiastical province. Its seat is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary in Cairo; Eparch Ephrem Warde was appointed on 12 May 2022.

History
Known informally as Cairo of the Syriacs, the Syriac Catholic Eparchy of Cairo is an ecclesiastical territory of the Syriac Catholic Church in Egypt. It answers immediately to the Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch while belonging to neither his nor any other ecclesiastical province. The Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, in the episcopal see of Cairo, serves as its cathedral.
