Carved out of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Madrid on 23 July 1991, the Diocese of Getafe (Latin: Dioecesis Xetafensis) is a Latin ecclesiastical territory of the Catholic Church in Spain belonging to the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Madrid. Its seat is Getafe Cathedral in the city of Getafe.
