Latin Church diocese in Emilia-Romagna formed in 1986 by the merger of the dioceses of Faenza and Modigliana, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Bologna. As of June 2026 the see is administered by Bishop Mario Toso, apostolic administrator, with bishop-elect Michele Morandi due to be ordained and take possession on July 12, 2026.
