The Diocese of Kaposvár is a Latin Church diocese in southwestern Hungary, erected on 31 May 1993 from territory of the Diocese of Veszprém. It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Veszprém. László Varga has been bishop since 2017.

History
In southwestern Hungary, the Diocese of Kaposvár (Latin: Dioecesis Kaposvarensis) is a Latin suffragan see within the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Veszprém. Its episcopal cathedral, Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral (Hungarian: Nagyboldogasszony-székesegyház), dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, stands in the city of Kaposvár, the capital of Somogy County.
