The Archdiocese of Dublin is a metropolitan Latin Rite archdiocese covering Dublin city and surrounding counties, the largest Catholic jurisdiction in Ireland. Raised to an archdiocese at the Synod of Kells in 1152, it is led by Archbishop Dermot Farrell, installed in February 2021, with St Mary's Pro-Cathedral as its cathedral church.
