The Archdiocese of Armagh is the metropolitan and primatial see of the Catholic Church in Ireland, traditionally founded by St. Patrick around 445 and raised to a metropolitan archdiocese at the Synod of Kells in 1152. Its archbishop holds the title Primate of All Ireland, and the see has been led by Archbishop Eamon Martin since 2014.
