Syro-Malabar Catholic eparchy in the Palakkad district of Kerala, India, erected 20 June 1974 by bifurcating the Eparchy of Trichur with a few parishes added from Tellicherry. It is a suffragan of the Archeparchy of Thrissur and serves about 56,700 East Syriac-rite Catholics (2010).

History
Centered on the city of Palakkad in the state of Kerala, in South India, the Eparchy of Palghat is a diocese of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church and a suffragan bishopric of the Archdiocese of Trichur. Peter Kochupurackal, appointed in 2022, is the current bishop.
