The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese covering northeastern Kansas, originally erected as the Diocese of Leavenworth in 1877 and elevated to an archdiocese in 1952. It is the metropolitan see for the suffragan dioceses of Dodge City, Salina, and Wichita.

History
Eastern Kansas in the United States is served by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas (Latin: Archidioecesis Kansanopolitana in Kansas). The archbishop's episcopal seat is the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter in Kansas City, Kansas. A metropolitan see, the archdiocese counts three suffragan dioceses: Dodge City, Salina, and Wichita.
