The Diocese of Klerksdorp is a Latin Church diocese in North West province, South Africa. It was established as an apostolic prefecture in 1965 and raised to a diocese on 27 February 1978, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Johannesburg.

History
In South Africa's ecclesiastical province of Johannesburg, the city of Klerksdorp is the seat of a Latin Catholic diocese (Latin: Dioecesis Klerkpolitana). Its second bishop was His Lordship, the Right Reverend Bishop Zithulele Patrick Mvemve, previously auxiliary bishop of Johannesburg, during which service he held the title of Titular Bishop of Luperciana.
