Maronite Catholic eparchy of Byblos (Jbeil), Lebanon, erected on 12 June 1673 and confirmed by the Maronite Synod of Mount Lebanon in 1736; it was separated from the Eparchy of Batroun on 9 June 1990. It is immediately subject to the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and its cathedral is Saint John Mark Cathedral in Byblos.

History
Immediately subject to the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch, the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Byblos (Latin: Eparchia Bybliensis Maronitarum) serves Lebanon. It counted 160,000 baptized in 2013, and Eparch Michel Aoun presently governs it.
