History
In Tapachula, Chiapas, the Catedral de San José, dedicated to Saint Joseph, serves as the seat of the Diocese of Tapachula (Latin: Dioecesis Tapacolensis), a Latin rite suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tuxtla Gutiérrez. Its bishop is Jaime Calderón Calderón.
