In the Piedmont region of northwest Italy, the Diocese of Novara (Latin: Dioecesis Novariensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Vercelli.

• Diocese of Novara remembers deceased priests

  The Diocese of Novara is remembering Marino Grassi on September 26. Born in Falmenta in 1921, Grassi was ordained in 1946. He served as coadjutor minister at S. Maria Maggiore from 1946 to 1956 and as parish priest there from 1956 to 1961. He served in Varallo Sesia from 1961 to 1966 and at Intra S. Vittore from 1966 until his death. He is buried in Falmenta.

  The Diocese of Novara is honoring deceased priests on September 25. The memorial includes Luigi Pattaroni, who served as the provost and dean of Bellinzago until his death in 1920. Roberto Geri served as the provost of Omegna and dean from 1906 to 1931. Giuseppe Provasi taught at the Seminary of Novara and served as the parish priest of Monticello from 1900 to 1912. Attilio Foradini served in Sologno from 1930 to 1960 before dying in a car accident in Milan. Erminio Barberis served as a parochial vicar in Trecate and later as the parish priest of Torrenova in Rome and Orta S. Giulio until 2008.

• Diocese of Novara remembers deceased priests

  The Diocese of Novara is remembering deceased priests on September 24. According to the diocese, the priests being honored are Giacomo Ambrosetti, Biagio Pollastri, and Giuseppe Amiotti. Giacomo Ambrosetti, born in Cannobio in 1865, was ordained in 1892. He served in Cavaglià S. Quirico from 1913 to 1920 before resigning and retiring to Barge, where he died at age 71. Biagio Pollastri, born in Alessandria in 1871, was ordained in 1898. He served in Cireggio, Fomarco, Divignano, Talonno, and Oleggio Bedisco. After resigning the benefit of Oleggio in 1937, he lived in private life and died in Arona at age 80. Giuseppe Amiotti, born in Varallo Sesia in 1903, was ordained in 1925. He served as a missionary in Mozambique and Angola from 1925 to 1941, as a military chaplain from 1941 to 1943, and in Arola and Sabbia. He served in Carpugnino from 1952 until his death at age 78.

• Diocese of Novara remembers deceased priests

  The Diocese of Novara released a list on September 19 to honor several deceased priests from its history. The memorial includes Giovanni Barazzone, a canon and provost of San Leonardo di Pallanza who was ordained in 1884 and died at age 74. Gerolamo Bucciotti, ordained in 1885, served as parish priest in Albo and Corconio before dying in Gozzano at age 86. Domenico Magistrini, ordained in 1893, served in Montrigiasco, Craveggia, and Vocogno until his death in Vocogno at age 86. Artibano Di Coscio, who was ordained in 1972 after working as a laborer, served at Novara San Agabio and Cavagliano. He founded the Comunità di Vicolo Ognissanti for minors with behavioral issues and later lived as a priest dedicated to sharing in poverty before dying in an accident at age 68. Tito Santamaria, ordained in 1946, served as a parish priest and hospital chaplain in Novara. He also served as a national assistant and president of the Novara ophthalmic association before passing away at age 98.
