The Diocese of Obuasi in Ghana was erected in 1995 as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kumasi. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of St. Thomas and Bishop John Yaw Afoakwah has led it since 2014.

Within Ghana's ecclesiastical province of Kumasi, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Obuasi (Latin: Obuasien(sis)) has its seat in the city of Obuasi.
