The Diocese of Bragança-Miranda is a Latin Church diocese in northeastern Portugal, originating as the Diocese of Miranda do Douro in 1545 with the seat later moved to Bragança, and suffragan to the Archdiocese of Braga. Its current bishop is Nuno Manuel dos Santos Almeida, appointed in 2023.

History

In the north-east of Portugal lies the Diocese of Bragança-Miranda (Latin: Dioecesis Brigantiensis-Mirandensis), a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church and a suffragan of the archdiocese of Braga. It has two seats: the Cathedral of Braganza and the Co-Cathedral of Miranda do Douro.
