The Patriarchate of Lisbon is the metropolitan archdiocese of Portugal's capital, a Latin rite see elevated to patriarchal rank in 1716. It heads the ecclesiastical province of Lisbon with seven suffragan dioceses and is led by Patriarch Rui Manuel Sousa Valério, who took office in 2023.
