History
South of Lisbon, with its see at Setúbal, lies the Diocese of Setúbal (Latin: Dioecesis Setubalensis), a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic church in Portugal. In existence since 1975, it is a suffragan of the archdiocese of Lisbon.
