Ukrainian Greek Catholic eparchy covering five raions of Lviv Oblast in western Ukraine, with its see at Stryi. Erected 21 July 2000 from the Archeparchy of Lviv, of which it remains a suffragan. Its cathedral is the Cathedral of the Holy Dormition of the Mother of God in Stryi.

History
A suffragan see of the Archeparchy of Lviv, the Eparchy of Stryi belongs to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II named its first eparch, Bishop Julian Gbur, on 21 July 2000; he died on 24 March 2011. Taras Senkiv now holds the see. The eparchy's cathedral church, the Cathedral of Dormition of the Mother of God, stands in the city of Stryi.
