Latin rite diocese in Zulia state, Venezuela, with its see at Cabimas on the eastern shore of Lake Maracaibo. Erected 23 July 1965 from the Archdiocese of Maracaibo, of which it is a suffragan. Its cathedral is the Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral in Cabimas.

In the city of Cabimas, within the ecclesiastical province of Maracaibo in Venezuela, lies the Diocese of Cabimas (Latin: Dioecesis Cabimensis), a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church.
