The Archdiocese of Guayaquil is a Latin Church metropolitan see in coastal Ecuador, erected as a diocese in 1838 and elevated to an archdiocese in 1956. It has been led by Cardinal Luis Gerardo Cabrera Herrera since 2015 and is the metropolitan for suffragans including Daule and Santa Elena.
