The Archdiocese of Manila is the oldest and primatial Latin Church metropolitan see in the Philippines, created as a diocese in 1579 and elevated to an archdiocese in 1595. Its seat is the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, led since 2021 by Cardinal Jose Advincula.
