The Diocese of Faro, also called the Diocese of the Algarve, is a Latin rite see in southern Portugal, suffragan to the Archdiocese of Évora. Bishop Manuel Neto Quintas submitted his resignation on reaching age 75 in 2024 and continues to govern the see until a successor is appointed, which had not happened as of mid 2026.
